Double whammy.
Ireland have been hit with a double blow ahead of their Autumn Nations Cup opener with Wales this evening with Jacob Stockdale and Iain Henderson forced to pull out of their starting XV.
Connacht’s Quinn Roux comes in as a direct replacement for Henderson with Tadhg Beirne drafted onto the bench.
Andrew Conway, who wasn’t named in the original 23, comes straight into the starting line-up on the wing with Hugo Keenan moving to fullback.
Henderson has a medical issue which ruled him out while Stockdale presented with calf soreness following a scan.
