Ireland head into today’s Six Nations round two clash with Italy with everything still to play for, thanks to the miraculous boot of Johnny Sexton last week.

The Ireland playmaker stepped up in the final seconds of the game to sink a 45 metre drop goal, snatching victory against the French at the very death.

While Sexton’s kick launched Ireland’s championship, inventor Elon Musk was busy launching rockets into space. So it was only fitting that TV3 married the two in this brilliant promo.

Ireland vs Italy kicks off at 2.15pm today, live on TV3. There’s plenty more magic to come.
