Toulon have sacked head coach Diego Dominguez and promoted recently hired backs coach Mike Ford to the top role in the club.
The former Italian international has been under increased pressure in recent weeks following a shaky start to the Top 14 and Champions Cup.
Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has evidently had enough, parting ways with his former head coach for Ford, who only joined the set-up late last month.
“I will not comment on the reasons for my decision. This is also my personal failure,” Boudjellal told L’Equipe.
Ford took charge of team training on Monday morning and it’s yet unclear if further changes amongst the coaching staff will be made.
