Ranking the ‘Top 5’ Rugby World Cup 2023 kits

Best of the best.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup in France kicks off in less than a month and every nation has now dropped their kits for the biggest tournament in rugby.

Some of them have been pretty average, and some have been pretty stink, to be honest. But as always, some absolute beauties have been dropped too – and we’ve decided to rank the ‘Top 5’ kits that will be on display in France.

Sponsors cannot feature on the front of shirts, with countries only permitted to have one crest/coat of arms on the front of their jerseys, and we reckon that usually makes for a nicer kit.

The Rugby World Cup 2023 logo appears on the right-hand side of all jerseys, with the country’s crest on the left and the kit designer in the middle.

The Top 5

1. Springboks home kit
Nike have absolutely knocked it out of the park for South Africa’s home jersey this year. The alternate isn’t great, but the reigning champions will be looking pretty sweet in their traditional green and yellow.

2. Fiji home kit
Another absolute beauty from Nike, with the alternate also featuring on this list. It’s simple but it’s glorious.

3. Argentina alternate
Los Pumas always have a nice kit and this year is no different. Nike are on an absolute roll here and before you ask, no this is not sponsored! The alternate jersey, in particular, stands out because it’s so much different from any other kit at the World Cup. We hate when manufacturers just stick to a template.

4. Fiji alternate
As previously mentioned, Fiji make the list twice because their kits are just so damn nice. Look at this for an alternate. Just wow.

5. France home
The hosts are favourites to go all the way and if they do so they’ll look pretty fresh along the way. Their alternate is top notch but we absolutely love that home kit.
