Not good.
There was HIA controversy in the Premiership over the weekend with Sale Sharks flanker Tom Curry at the center of it.
The England international was on the receiving end of a pretty nasty collision just six minutes into the Sale vs Harlequins game and footage shows he is clearly concussed.
Curry was taken off for a HIA but was brought back onto the pitch having apparently passed the test. He was then removed at half-time but the question remains – why was he allowed back on in the first place?
Sale DOR Alex Sanderson claims he passed the HIA and was just taken off as a ‘precaution’ but the footage does not look good.
“Tom passed his HIA, went back on, and then at half-time we reassessed him again,” he said.
“We were just being precautionary with Tom to look after him because we almost have to protect him from himself sometimes.”
