Jacob Stockdale has had a hell of a start in a green jersey. The Ulster winger made his debut for Ireland over the summer against USA, before bursting onto the scene last November.
The youngster was one of Ireland’s star men, as they completed an autumn clean sweep over South Africa, Fiji and Argentina. Fast forward to 2018 and the Six Nations, and it’s much of the same for Stockdale.
Three games in and Ireland are once again undefeated, while Stockdale continues to impress. Four tries in three games, means he has now remarkably scored 8 tries in his first 7 Tests for Ireland. Including two against Wales yesterday.
As things stand, just 28 men in history have scored more Test tries for Ireland than Stockdale. Not bad for a 21-year-old with just seven caps to his name.
