England won the 2016 RBS 6 Nations on Saturday following a thrilling win over rivals Wales.
Eddie Jones’ men have been rewarded by moving to fifth in the world having began the tournament at eight following a hugely disappointing Rugby World Cup. Ireland have moved up one place to seventh following their first win of the tournament but it’s a far cry from the dizzying heights of number two in the world before the world cup.
Wales remain fourth but could be overtaken by England after the weekend with Scotland also hoping to break into the coveted top eight providing they can beat Ireland and England complete a Grand Slam over France. The top eight will be seeded heading into Japan 2019.
