The LADdown is here! Your weekly rugby news round-up is back with another well- weekly rugby news round-up! As per usual we don’t do conventional methods! We bring you all the weeks rugby and we have a laugh in the process! We’ve got some Guinness PRO10 + 2 Italian sides action, Aviva Premiership action, some money fights (Top 14) plus some action down south with the #RugbyChampionship. We had a few lets say one-side encounters again this week (39-0 ring a bell?) along with a few absolute belters! Enough talk! Here’s Manu Tuilagi punching Chris Ashton!
Ya we know that has nothing to do with last weeks action but who doesn’t love seeing Chris Ashton getting punched in the face? While we’re here lets take a look at the Aviva Premiership results:
Harlequins were left stooped at the stoop (could have been more only for Mike Brown), London Welsh well… you might guessed they may have conceded a few points again this week and perhaps didn’t score as many in return! The Sharks had a rough week too- they were unable to swim at Kingsholm. The Tigers prayed on the Chiefs at Sandy Park and the Wasps gave the Saints a good stinging over at Adams Park. The Newcastle Falcons couldn’t find their wings again this week and wen’t down 18-20 to the good Irish London LADS.
PRO12 up next! Connacht pick pocketed Edinburgh at Murrayfield. Ospreys snuck one versus the Dragons. Munster got back on track. Leinster got their mojo back against the Scarlets and Glasgow gave Cardiff a nice tidy beat down at Cardiff Arms. Here’s Leinster giving Scarlets a warm welcome to the RDS.
You guessed it! Top 14! Here’s the results in full:
We’re not gonna go into detail here. Basically in every case the team with the most money won. Except Stade Francais vs Toulon- that was a case of prettiest jersey wins.
Down south for the #RugbyChampionship next. The all powerful, all mighty, all blacks defeated the Springboks and the Wallabies edged out the Pumas. The entire weekend can be summed up by this moment of brilliance from Kieran Read:
That’s it LADS! Hope you enjoyed the LADdown! We’re back again next week, and the week after, and the week after that… you get the picture.
