Arrested.
Former Scotland, Exeter, and British and Irish Lions fullback Stuart Hogg has been arrested for a third time this year.
Hogg who made his try-scoring return to professional rugby with Top 14 outfit Montpellier over the weekend, was arrested on Monday.
Before this latest arrest, Hogg has been previously taken into custody for allegedly stalking and breaching bail conditions.
Police Scotland issued a statement which read:
“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with stalking offences and breach of bail conditions.
“He is due to appear before Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 10 September, 2024, and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
Hogg is set to miss the start of training with Montpellier this week while he stands trial in the domestic violence case against his estranged wife Gillian
