Keep the faith.
Simon Zebo played his final European game for Munster yesterday as the southern province were dumped out of the Champions Cup by his future employers.
Zebo will pack his bags and head off to France at the end of the season, taking up a contract with yesterday’s winners, Racing 92.
The Ireland international was benched for yesterday’s game, in what turned out to be the wrong decision by Munster head coach Johann van Graan.
His replacement Alex Wootton was caught out defensively on a number of occasions, while Zebo injected a much needed spark into Munster’s attack when he came on.
A difficult day for the Corkman, but his contribution to Munster’s European challenges over the years won’t be forgotten anytime soon. It was perhaps fitting that he equalled Anthony Foley’s European record with the try he scored when he came on.
Heartbroken to put it lightly..
But I love this club and our supporters
