End of an era.
Italian legend Sergio Parisse is set to leave Stade Francais after almost 15 years with the French club.
The 35-year-old, who has made 258 appearance for the Top 14 side, has been granted an early release from his contract after both parties came to a “mutual agreement.”
“Stade Français Paris and Sergio Parisse have decided by mutual agreement to put an end to the contract that binds them.” a statement read.
Parisse joined Stade in 2005 after beginning his professional career in Italy with Treviso and is still regarded as one of the best forwards in the game. It’s not yet know what the future holds for the powerful number eight.
