Jumping the gun.
Nearly all the Rugby World Cup kits have been released at this stage, bar a few notable absentees – with Scotland being one of them.
Gregor Townsend’s side are in a tough pool with Ireland and hosts Japan, as well as Russia and Samoa. But what will the Scots be wearing in Japan?
While their kits haven’t ‘officially’ been released, it appears someone in the Scotsman or Macron have accidentally ‘jumped the gun’ so to speak and released an image with both kits on display.
Stuart Hogg can be seen wearing the home kit, with John Barclay in the alternate. Both kits have a traditional Scottish tartan design on the shoulders, and to be honest – they both look pretty good.
Can’t believe the SRU didn’t hire @theoffsideline instead of The Scotsman to put out a sneak peak of the new @Scotlandteam strip.

Appears that either Macron or someone in Scotsman ads department have jumped the gun. Advert in today’s Scotsman showing Scotland’s World Cup shirts (HT @scotrugbyforum) pic.twitter.com/9tgYlx4nQA
