Munster have today confirmed that Anthony Foley will remain with the province for another season but there’s a catch.
The appointment of a Director of Rugby has been confirmed and will take up his position in time for next season with Munster having already begun the recruitment process. Who are Munster going the appoint is the next question?
As soon as Conor O’Shea handed in his Harlequins notice Munster fans rejoiced in the hope that O’Shea would be heading to Limerick. It was then revealed however that O’Shea to Italy was a done deal. There’s been a twist today however with Italian federation president Alfredo Gavazzi being quoted that O’Shea will not be taking up the role and that “You’re all going to get a surprise.”
O’Shea to Munster?
