Rassie Erasmus has admitted he would like to manage the Springboks.
The Munster boss has been linked with a return home several times in the past few weeks, with some reports even suggesting that the deal is done and Erasmus will leave at the end of the season.
The good news for Munster fans however is it now appears that Erasmus is in no rush to leave the southern province. He presented us with trivial answers when asked about leaving on numerous occasions, but TV3’s Sinéad Kissane has finally got him to give us a straight answer.

There’s really nothing happening on that front. I’m signed here with Munster, and one day I would really want to go to back to South Africa, and I would never close that door totally on myself.
I would like to go and coach the Springboks, if I’m good enough, one day. So that’s why it’s not a straight-out ‘no’. Because there’s always chat, and some of my friends are still there, so I wouldn’t stand here and say ‘no, I would never go back’. Because one day I would like to go back.
It appears Erasmus is destined to take the reigns with the Springboks… But will at the very least see out his three-year deal with Munster. We’re pretty sure Munster fans will take that, along with a win on Saturday.
