Ospreys Rugby will face Scarlets on Saturday, May 18 at 19:45 (local) in the European Play-Off game to decide which team takes the seventh place from the Guinness PRO14 in next season’s Champions Cup.

Both teams compete as the highest ranked teams in their conferences not to have taken an automatic place in the Champions Cup. Ospreys host the game at Liberty Stadium by virtue of holding a higher points total (58) to Scarlets (52).

It promises to be an interesting clash given the madness surrounding the two clubs this year with Ospreys at one stage earlier this year set to merge with Scarlets, before the proposal was scrapped.
