Wow.
Eben Etzebeth has been linked with a move to Premiership champions, Saracens in recent weeks but it now seems another English club is set to wrap up a deal for the monster lock, worth a staggering £40,000 per game.
Relegation threatened Bristol are reportedly in talks with the 53 times capped star as they bid to stay in the Premiership this season by signing the hugely experienced world-beater.
The deal would see the 6′ 8″ lock line out for Bristol for six games following South Africa’s European tour, possibly making his debut against Gloucester on 3 December.
Bristol are said to be in talks with a number of world stars, in a bid to secure some much needed points.
