Ireland welcome the All Blacks to Dublin this weekend in a return fixture following their history making win over in Chicago. Ireland’s win, their first after 111 years of trying, was done in some fashion, racking up five tries on the way to a memorable 40-29 win.
Joe Schmidt must now pick a team this weekend he thinks are capable of defeating the world champions once again, proving to the world that Ireland are no flukes. Steve Hansen’s men welcome back the likes of Sam Whitelock and Brodie Retallick but Schmidt will be able to call on the likes of Sean O’Brien, Peter O’Mahony and Iain Henderson this weekend.
O’Brien and O’Mahony made their long awaited returns this past weekend against Canada, leaving Schmidt with a serious selection dilemma. The Kiwi will be forced to make one change from the back-row that started in Chicago, with Jordi Murphy ruled out, but who will get that coveted seven jersey?
Let us know what back-row you think should start in Dublin this weekend by voting below.
