Never one to let bad luck get him down, Tommy Bowe took to Instagram following knee surgery wearing a big smile, though not where you’d think.
Bowe went under the knife to repair posterior cruciate ligament and meniscal injuries he sustained in the first-half of Ireland’s World Cup quarter final loss to Argentina and, although he is likely to miss the 2016 Six Nations, the upbeat winger gave all his followers a big smiley face….on his knee.
Using the surgeon’s incision and some crude penmanship, the Monaghan native demonstrated some odd artistic improvisation.
