Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey made a surprise appearance at the Rio Olympics on day three to lend support pitchside to the USA women’s Rugby Sevens team.
Decked out in full accreditation passes – as if anyone on an entrance gate wouldn’t have recognised his pin up profile – and clutching his very own official match ball, the star of True Detective and Dallas Buyers Club looked to be enjoying the action.
