Brilliant.
European Champions Cup organisers were forced to apologise to both Cardiff Blues and Glasgow Warriors this week for an unfortunate kit clash during their Pool 3 clash on Sunday.
Glasgow’s strip was a slightly lighter shade of blue leading to huge confusion for the players, fans and commentators in what was branded as an “out-and-out disgrace” by Blues outhalf Gareth Anscombe.
A statement from Champions Cup organisers following the game said they would be formally contacting both Cardiff Blues and Glasgow Warriors to apologise.
But Glasgow have decided to have a bit of fun with the whole ordeal today, releasing an image of their ‘new alternate’ kit for today’s PRO14 clash with Munster in order to “avoid a repeat of last week’s kit clash”. Check it out below. Brilliant stuff.
