Classy.
All Blacks captain Kieran Read and Ireland’s Peter O’Mahony shared a lovely moment after this morning’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final clash.
For 80 minutes the pair absolutely battered each other, with Read’s New Zealand coming out on top in a dominating win. But after the game, all was forgotten as O’Mahony introduced his daughter to the New Zealander.
The Munster captain more than anyone will be hugely disappointed with this morning’s result, but tomorrow’s another day and no doubt Ireland will come back stronger.
And at the end of the day, it’s just a game. There’s much more to life. And this lovely moment is proof.
This is what rugby is all about.
