England legend Jonny Wilkinson was present at England’s final training session ahead of the Rugby World Cup final – offering England outhalf Owen Farrell some drop goal advice.
The legendary playmaker, whose drop goal helped England win the World Cup in 2003, watched and gave advice as Farrell and scrumhalf Ben Youngs practised drop-goals ahead of their showdown with South Africa.
The 40-year-old former Toulon and Newcastle Falcons outhalf often works with Eddie Jones’ squad on a consultancy basis, offering his technical expertise on kicking to the likes of Farrell, George Ford, Youngs and fullback Elliot Daly.
England are favourites for this weekend’s final but it’s expected to be a close contest.
