Yes you read the headline correctly.
Ospreys hooker Scott Baldwin was forced to withdraw from their squad for today’s game with the Cheetahs as he was reportedly bit by a Lion in South Africa.
The Welsh region announced on Twitter ahead of the game that the front-row was forced to pull out of the clash with a hand injury, with Scott Otten taking his spot in the starting line-up and Sam Parry coming onto the bench.
Respected South African journalist Morgan Piek claims Baldwin was bitten by a Lion hence the hand injury, and claims to have seen the video.

As for the game itself, the Cheetahs continued their excellent run of form at home with a comprehensive 44-10 bonus-point win, sending them up to second in Conference A, and heaping more misery on Ospreys in the process.
