Exit door.
Leinster Rugby today announced 21 new contracts for next season – but there was one glaring omission from the lengthy list.
The extensions mentioned include the earlier agreed IRFU deals with internationals Robbie Henshaw, Johnny Sexton and Cian Healy, as well as the return of Cian Kelleher from Connacht.
They also note the departures of a number of players, including the already announced decision from Sean O’Brien to leave in favour of a move to London Irish.
But one man that’s nowhere to be seen is Rob Kearney, despite his contract set to expire after the Rugby World Cup in Japan. The veteran fullback has hinted already he may be leaving, while Sean O’Brien posted an image to Instagram wishing him well next season in France.
