Reigning Six Nations Grand Slam champions Ireland are currently in Portugal for a warm weather campaign as they continue preparations for the 2024 championship which kicks off next month.

Ireland take on France in Marseille in their opener in arguably the biggest game of the tournament and will have a new captain leading them out following Peter O’Mahony’s appointment earlier this month.

The Munster stalwart has over 100 caps for his country and was an obvious choice for the role but it appears being appointed captain hasn’t made O’Mahony any cheerier judging by this hilarious clip uploaded by Irish Rugby.
