No rest for the wicked.
17 English players from the matchday 23 that took on Ireland this past weekend in the Six Nations all start for their respective Premiership clubs this weekend.
While the likes of Conor Murray and Rory Best have been relaxing in Dubai, England’s internationals will be thrust straight back into action. The management of players has been a huge talking point this week, but it appears the clubs just won’t listen.
2 more from the matchday 23 are on the bench this weekend, while the other four are injured.
For the love of god will someone please give Maro Itoje a week off?
And the bench:
George
Marler
Cole
Launchbury
Armand
Care
Ford
BrownSo that’s 17 of the Ireland match 23 starting in the league this weekend. Two benched, four injured, none rested. #AvivaPrem #England #rugby
