World class.
Legendary former All Blacks captain Sean Fitzpatrick has named Wales centre Jonathan Davies as one of the Six Nations stars he wishes the All Blacks had in their team.
The All Blacks have produced some of the best centres the game has ever seen including the likes of Tana Umaga, Ma’a Nonu, Conrad Smith, Ryan Crotty and Sonny Bill Williams – but these days it’s not exactly an area of strength.
They may have guys like Anton Lienert-Brown and Jack Goodhue but there’s no doubt Jonathan Davies would be pushing for an All Blacks spot if he was born in New Zealand instead of Wales.
Speaking on WalesOnline’s Welsh Rugby Podcast, the former Auckland hooker described Davies as ‘world class’.
“I think there’d be a few!” he said.
“Someone like Jonathan Davies – that sort of talent.
“He’s hugely talented and that’s what you need in teams. You need players who are a world class level.
“If you want to win things, you need a few of those in your team…”
Can you think of any other Six Nations players you think would make the current All Blacks team?
