Ah, lads.
A lot has been said about reigning world champions New Zealand over the last few weeks with many saying they are no longer the force they once were. Well, it looks like those people were very wrong.
Things didn’t look great for them in the opening ten minutes of their pool clash with South Africa, which is just approaching half-time – but two flashes of complete and under brilliance will see then lead by 14 points at the break.
An early Handre Pollard kick gave the Boks and early lead before Mo’unga hit back with a penalty of his own. But despite South Africa dominating much of the game, Steve Hansen’s men pulled out two simply magical efforts in the space of five minutes to leave the Springboks stunned.
Have a watch below for yourself. Black magic.
