QBE Insurance Group have unveiled the ‘QBE Rugby’ app, which allows fans to keep updated with news and social media content from this summer’s British & Irish Lions tour.
The new app is the perfect, go-to source for real-time content from all aspects of the game and offers behind-the-scenes access to the Lions’ team as it prepares for the 2017 series against the world champions.
Social media updates from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are collated in the app and feature posts from the Lions’ team coaches, players and Lions’ legends as well as QBE’s own rugby content which will complement other rugby news. Essentially this is the ideal, one-stop-shop for rugby fans in May, June and July.
Nick Mott, Head of Sponsorship at QBE said:
“The QBE Rugby app, created by RightNow Digital, offers us an innovative and exciting opportunity to engage with our audience in the lead up to the British & Irish Lions campaign and beyond. We wanted to create something unique for the rugby follower who currently has to go to numerous sites to keep up with developments in the game, we believe this app will revolutionise the way fans consume news. I’m confident our app will be an essential accessory for every true rugby fan.”
‘QBE Rugby’ is now available on iOS and Android devices.
