Keith Earls is reportedly set to be named in Warren Gatland’s British & Irish Lions squad tomorrow according to The Daily Telegraph.
The Munster and Ireland winger was a surprise choice for the 2009 tour to South Africa, but shone in the midweek games despite having just 2 caps for Ireland at the time.
His Munster teammate Simon Zebo is set to miss out, while Welsh veteran Jamie Roberts is expected to travel as is Leigh Halfpenny.
England captain Dylan Hartley is expected to lose out to Saracens hooker Jamie George, while Scotland fans will not be happy to hear that Stuart Hogg looks set to be their only representative on the tour.
Earls will also reportedly be joined by Ireland teammate Iain Henderson and fellow Munster man Donnacha Ryan. Former Leinster centre Ben Te’o is widely expected to travel ahead of Jonathan Joseph.
