Munster Rugby have stood down the number 8 jersey for tomorrow’s game with the Glasgow Warriors in honour of the late Anthony Foley.
CJ Stander will now wear the number 24 jersey as his beloved club says goodbye in the historic match.
Foley’s former men were due to kick off their campaign last week against French side Racing 92 before the news broke of his passing, with the game subsequently called off.
Munster were given the option to postpone this weekend’s fixture also, but chose not to as it isn’t what Foley would have wanted according to Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus.
