Wanted man.
Munster Rugby look set to secure the services of one of the most coveted hookers in rugby right now.
Scarlets hooker Marnus van der Merwe is out of contract in the summer with the Welsh side, and has attracted interest from the Sharks, the Lions, as well as some clubs in France and England.
The 28-year-old has been a real standout for the Scarlets over the last couple of seasons, making his Springbok debut over the summer against Georgia, before going on to help South Africa successfully defend The Rugby Championship.
But according to Rapport, Munster Rugby have won the battle for his signature, having been in the market for a top-quality hooker for quite some time.
The southern province are unbeaten so far this season with new coach Clayton McMillan already having a transformational effect on the Irish side.
