Reinforcements.
Munster have announced the signing of exciting young Garryowen scrumhalf Neil Cronin on an initial one-year deal.
Neil, who is the brother of Leinster and Ireland hooker Sean Cronin, has been hugely impressive in the AIL over the last couple of seasons, and recently captained the Ireland Clubs team.
The 25-year-old has played for Munster before, making four appearances in the 2014-15 campaign.
Head coach Johann van Graan has also invited Bulls centre Dries Swanepoel to join the group this week in South Africa. It is envisaged the 25-year-old will join the province as injury cover on a short-term loan signing, subject to being granted a valid work permit.
Munster Rugby and the IRFU also today confirmed that hooker Mike Sherry and prop Jeremy Loughman have both signed contract extensions.
