Poached.
Munster look set to land Sale Sharks fullback Mike Haley, beating off competition from Aviva Premiership champions Exeter, according to a report in The Rugby Paper yesterday.
Haley’s contract is set to run with Sale until the end of next season. But he appears to be frustrated with his lack of game time, playing second fiddle to Wallaby James O’Connor for most of the season.
I hear that confirmation of my @TheRugbyPaper story from yesterday that Mike Haley is moving from @SaleSharksRugby to @Munsterrugby will come in the next 48 hours. You’re welcome.

Sale were set to demand substantial compensation fee for his release. But the IRFU have now reportedly pounced, after finding out he qualifies for Ireland through a grandparent.
The 23-year-old has represented the England Saxons, and lined out for an XV against the Barbarians last summer.
