Not a bad replacement.
Munster look set to raid Wasps ahead of next season with the signing of former All Blacks centre, Malakai Fekitoa, according to RugbyPass.
The southern province recorded a huge win over rivals Ulster last night, despite being down to 14-men for the majority of the game following a Simon Zebo red card.
But the Irish side have failed to flatter in recent weeks and are currently in search of a new head coach with Johann van Graan set to depart the province at the end of the season for Premiership side Bath.
Attack coach Stephen Larkham is also departing the province at the end of the current campaign, with World Cup-winning Springboks duo Damian de Allende and RG Snyman set to follow suit when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
Wasps are currently struggling with a mountain of debt and it appears they will not be able to retain the services of Fekitoa, who recently declared he will be lining out for his home nation of Tonga thanks to World Rugby’s new eligibility laws.
The potential signing of Fekitoa will no doubt come as a huge boost for Munster’s fanbase given his incredible quality, having shone at the very highest level for a number of years.
The 29-year-old has 24 caps for the All Blacks and has previously represented the likes of French side Toulon, as well as Super Rugby sides, the Blues and the Highlanders.
