Munster Rugby have released a hugely positive injury update ahead of this weekend’s clash with Zebre.
Simon Zebo will take part in full training and should be available for selection this weekend with Peter O’Mahony stepping up his rehabilitation by returning to full training
Conor Oliver is back in training after an ankle stinger while Stephen Archer and Keith Earls showed no ill effects from their return to action at the weekend. Donnacha Ryan was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s game due to illness but is expected to train this week.
Colm O’Shea and Andrew Conway (both concussion) continue to follow their return to play protocols withTommy O’Donnell (also concussion) now completing the final stages of his return to play.
Jean Kleyn (ankle) underwent a scan and will meet a specialist for further consultation as will Dave O’Callaghan after receiving a bang to the shoulder in the 28-14 win at Thomond Park.
The only real bad news coming from their win over Edinburgh in Thomond Park is that Jack O’Donoghue (neck) continues to be monitored by the medical staff and is not expected to be available this week. [Munster Rugby]
