No thanks.
Leinster revealed yesterday that a number of tickets for their PRO14 semi-final clash with Munster at the RDS have become available, after the southern province returned a large chunk of their allocation.
25% off all tickets are allocated to an away team for the semi-finals, and with the capacity of the RDS Arena increased to almost 19,000 for the fixture, Munster would have received around 4,750 tickets.
But 1,000 of those tickets have been sent back to Leinster, with the eastern province making them available online for purchase. A large chunk of those have already been snapped up, but some still remain.
The news comes on the back of just 10,000 attending Munster’s quarter final clash with Edinburgh in Thomond Park a couple of weeks ago, but in fairness, comes just three weeks after an army of over 10,000 strong flew to Bordeaux for the clash with Racing 92.
