Munster rugby have reportedly completed the signing of South African lock Jean Kleyn from the Stormers.
Kleyn is a monstrous 6’8″ and just 22 years old and has featured for both the Stormers and Western Province. It believed that former Munster captain and now recruitment consultant to Munster Rugby, Paul O’Connell, was instrumental in closing the deal for Kleyn.
Kleyn will reportedly be brought in as a project player, with a view to residency. Munster and Ireland will be hoping that he can prove to be as big a hit as CJ Stander has been.
The article also reveals that former Munster winger Gerhard van der Heever will be plying his trade in Japan next season for the Yamaha Jubilo side. [SuperSport]
