Wanted man.
Munster Rugby look set to raid one of their rival provinces as they continue to seek out a replacement for Antoine Frisch in the centre next season.
Frisch looks set to join Toulon in the Top 14 with the southern province set to receive a sizeable fee to buy him out of the last year of his contract.
With Alex Nankivell already on their books, Munster must find an Irish-qualified player to replace him, and according to RugbyPass, they’ve tabled an offer for Connacht’s Tom Farrell.
Farrell has reportedly been offered a two-year deal by Munster with his contract at Connacht set to expire at the end of the season.
Connacht recently signed previous Munster target Piers O’Conor, perhaps opening the door for Farrell’s exit. A move for Leicester’s Dan Kelly has proved problematic with his contract at the English side running until the end of the 2024/25 season.
