Connacht took an early lead against Munster at the Sportsground this evening thanks to a bizarre score from centre Tom Farrell.
With Munster on the attack through Arno Botha, Farrell somehow managed to come in a steal the ball from underneath the arm of the South African as he hit the deck.
Nobody knew what was going on the whole thing happened so smoothly – not even Andrew Conway who was right next to the play. He hit what he thought was a ruck, attempting a clear out.
The southern province have since fought back with tries from Peter O’Mahony and Dan Goggin to take a 14-7 lead. Check out Connacht’s try below.
