Munster Rugby have been hit with a major injury blow ahead of their final regular season game next weekend and their URC play-off run-in.
The southern province are going to be without centre Alex Nankivell for the “next few weeks” after he hobbled off in the bonus-point win over Edinburgh last weekend.
Munster can secure top spot in the standings with a win over Ulster next weekend but the loss of Nankivell could be devastating with the New Zealander arguably their best player this season,
Mike Haley was removed following a head injury in the same game and is following the graduated return to play protocols.
The availability of Joey Carbery, John Hodnett and Peter O’Mahony for the Ulster clash will be determined next week.
