Back in action.
Munster Rugby have been handed a huge fitness boost ahead of their URC opener against Connacht in Thomond Park this weekend.
Springboks lock Jean Kleyn has returned to full training and is in contention for a place in the match-day squad after missing almost the entire 2023/24 season with a troublesome eye injury.
In other injury news, Liam Coombes and Jack Daly will look to complete the return-to-play protocols with a view to a full return to training this week. The duo were both removed following head injuries against Gloucester earlier this month.
Dave Kilcoyne (shoulder) is increasing his training load with a view to returning to full team training.
New signing Diarmuid Kilgallen will undergo a period of rehabilitation with the medical department for a leg injury.
Continuing to rehab: Brian Gleeson (shoulder), Cian Hurley (knee), Tom Ahern (ankle), Rory Scannell (ankle), Paddy Patterson (knee), Edwin Edogbo (achilles), Roman Salanoa (knee)
