Mike Phillips has reportedly been sacked by Bayonne according to reports in France.
The Wales scrum-half was suspended earlier this week after he turned up to a video session drunk on October 11 alongside team mates Dwayne Haare and Stephen Brett.
But while the Kiwi duo are said to have been hit by a hefty fine, Phillips’ days in the Basque country seem to be over as he is expected to receive a dismissal letter on Saturday.
A statement from the club is expected tonight.
