Mike Ford could be on his way back to England.
The former Bath boss recently took the reigns at French giants Toulon on a short-term deal, but is expected to be replaced at the end of the campaign, with Fabien Galthie rumoured to have been approached by the Top 14 side.
It’s now being reported that Ford has been approached himself to be part of a new coaching set-up at Gloucester, who are currently subject to a takeover by Montpellier owner Mohed Altrad.
The deal to takeover the English side is expected to be confirmed next week, with World Rugby and European Professional Club Rugby set to approve the bid. Altrad is expected to name a new coaching set-up, made up of Ford, Phillipe Saint-Andre and Olivier Azam.
A good move?
