Munster continue preparations today for Saturday’s Guinness PRO12 semi-final with positive news on the injury front for both Tyler Bleyendaal and Alex Wootton.
Bleyendaal and Wootton sustained respective bicep and hamstring injuries in the province’s round 22 win over Connacht at Thomond Park but Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus today confirmed that both players are expected to return to full training this week.
The return of Bleyendaal, Munster’s Player of the Year this season, will come as a huge boost ahead of the crucial clash. Conor Murray also showed no ill-effects after his return to action against Connacht and is in line to start this weekend.
Munster take on Ospreys in second of the Guinness PRO12 semi-finals on Saturday at Thomond Park with a 6.15pm kick-off.
