Man down.
Wales look set to be without fullback Liam Williams for their Rugby World Cup semi-final clash with South Africa on Sunday.
The 28-year-old sustained an ankle injury in training according to WalesOnline is now a major doubt for the game. Williams has been one of Wales’ star men in Japan and his absence would be seen as a major blow.
Leigh Halfpenny is next in line and while he’s not exactly a bad replacement – he’s a completely different player to Williams.
Williams’ injury is being described as ‘significant’ and his likely absence could prove to be detrimental to Wales’ chances of victory come Sunday.
