What a first half.
Against all odds, Ireland somehow find themselves 13-6 up against Wales at half-time despite being down to 14-men with just 13 minutes on the clock.
The men in green were 3-0 when Peter O’Mahony was shown red for a dangerous clear-out and were 6-0 shortly after and completely up against it.
But a change in tactics from Andy Farrell saw Ireland begin to move the ball much quicker from the base of the ruck and fight there way back into the game. With 34 mins gone they were level.
Then an excellent run from Robbie Henshaw, following by some quick thinking from Josh van der Flier resulted in Tadhg Beirne crashing over for the game’s first try. Half-time at the Principality and Ireland lead 13-6.
