Back in action.
Connacht Rugby have issued an update on the fitness of Ireland winger Mack Hansen following a lengthy lay-off with injury.
Hansen dislocated his shoulder in the game against Munster on New Year’s Day and required an operation which has kept him out ever since.
The good news is Connacht head coach Pete Wilkins has confirmed that Hansen has completed a “full pre-season” and is expected to be ready for their first United Rugby Championship match of the season on September 21.
That game will be against the same opposition that Hansen last played against with Connacht set to take on Munster at Thomond Park in Round 1.
