Ouch.
Munster fell to a second heavy away defeat in the PRO14 this season as they were hammered 37-13 by Willis Halaholo and the Cardiff Blues.
The hugely entertaining encounter came to life very early in the first-half, with each side grabbing two tries a piece in the opening 20 minutes at Cardiff Arms Park.
Munster looked to be the better side heading into half-time, but were taken apart in the second half, leaving head coach Johann van Graan some serious work to do in terms of their away form this season just two games in.
Andrew Conway bagged two tries in his first game of the season, but things didn’t work out quite so well for CJ Stander, who was also making his seasonal bow. The Ireland international left the pitch battered and bruised, and with a potential broken nose judging by these pictures.
A bad day all round for Munster. Back to the drawing board for the Irish province. Straight to hospital with Stander it seems.
