Looks like London Irish won’t being taking shi* off anyone this year. Their new sponsors Pump Technology on the other hand have perhaps a different approach on the ‘matter’.
The Aviva Premiership side recently announced a deal with these guys (who are specialists in providing pumps for pumping waste water and sewage) that will last up until the end of the 2017/18 season.
What makes this deal so interesting is the fact that the club have announced that the North-West segment of Madejski Stadium will now be known as ‘Poo Corner’, unofficially of course. The LondonIrishLADS proving that somewhere in sponsorship and sport, some people are willing to have the shi*s and giggles.
The deal between the two organisations is also the longest of any sponsorship by a club in the English top-flight. PooLADS
